Innovative Technology (ITL) will participate in BiS SiGMA South America, taking place from April 7 to 9 in São Paulo, presenting solutions focused on age verification, access control, and cash payment automation for the gaming sector.
As Brazil’s regulatory landscape for betting and gaming continues to evolve, operators are increasingly requiring more robust mechanisms for preventing underage access, mitigating identity fraud, identifying and protecting individuals affected by gambling addiction, and ensuring compliance with responsible gaming practices. In this context, ITL will demonstrate technologies based on facial biometrics and automated cash validation for regulated markets across South America.
The solutions are designed for operation in physical gaming environments, such as VLTs (Video Lottery Terminals), and can be integrated with access control and operational management systems.
AI Technology for Player Protection
Key product highlights include:
ICU Lite: an embedded solution for continuous age estimation, operating passively. The system enables real-time monitoring during gameplay sessions, reducing the risk of user substitution and supporting compliance with age restriction requirements;
MyCheckr: an age verification module for entry points, capable of integration with access control systems (turnstiles, automated doors, and gates), allowing perimeter validation and blocking access to underage individuals;
CBA9 and NV200: banknote validators designed for cash payment automation, reducing manual intervention and increasing transaction traceability.
These solutions can be deployed as complementary control layers within compliance strategies, supporting operators in meeting emerging regulatory requirements in Brazil, particularly regarding the protection of vulnerable individuals, operational KYC in physical environments, and the integrity of cash transactions.
