Innovative Technology (ITL), a global leader in cash validation and age & identity verification technology, has confirmed its participation at the first-ever Amusement & Retail Entertainment (ARE) Expo, taking place in Manchester this April.
ITL will be exhibiting on Stand 36 and also contributing to the event’s thought leadership programme as a speaker in one of the show’s dedicated workshops.
With a well-established presence across the UK’s leisure, pub retail, and amusement sectors, ITL’s cash handling and recycling solutions are widely trusted throughout the industry.
Visitors to ARE Expo will have the chance to demo ITL’s market-leading NV22S, a compact, multi-denomination banknote recycler combining the proven NV9 Spectral validator with a Multi-Note Float (MNF) payout unit. When paired with the SMART Coin System (SCS), ITL offers a complete solution for cash recycling – significantly improving transaction efficiency, reducing float levels, and eliminating coin starvation.
In line with regulatory changes promoting safer gambling, ITL is also showcasing its age and identity verification technology. The ICU Lite, designed for integration with gaming machines, and MyCheckr, a standalone age check solution for 18+ access points, will both be available to trial on the stand.
Dr Andrew O’Brien, ITL’s Head of Biometric Technology, will join one of the Gambling Business Group (GBG) workshops to discuss the role of age estimation technology in player protection. His session will explore how on-machine AV can help identify underage players and those who are self-excluded, as well as how the ITL Connect App allows operators to receive real-time alerts for age verification failures.
"As regulatory demands increase, operators are actively seeking solutions that not only improve operational efficiency but also support responsible play. We’re excited to demonstrate how our technology meets both needs at the ARE Expo."
