Innovative Technology (ITL) reported a successful Paris Retail Week that was held in the capital over three days last week.  Paris Retail Week is Europe's biggest meeting for the retailing ecosystem open to all retail and e-commerce professionals.

Commenting on ITL’s involvement, Business Development Manager for the region, Stephan Rosseneu said, “The show was busy with a constant stream of visitors to the booth over the three days.  Many retailers were impressed with our affordable cash automation system – CashGenic. We presented this with our local partner IPM who have utilised our system to create their own solution – SelfPay.  This compact, affordable solution offers customers who wish to pay with cash, a safe and hygienic way to do so with pay-in and pay-out managed by staff via a mobile tablet device.  The show gave us an opportunity to collaborate with our partner and successfully secure several pilot installations with local retailers planned for later this year.”

Stephan continued, “The exhibition this year had an element of AI (Artificial Intelligence) making our biometrics solutions ideally placed at the show. Visitors were excited to test out MyCheckr for anonymous age estimation, designed for retailers who sell age-restricted goods. This all-in-one device can be utilised at manned checkouts to give an extra level of assurance for till operators when deciding if an age check is required.”

Innovative Technology also debuted their new NV4000 Spectral to the French market. This advanced, high volume mixed bill recycler is designed to move customers through checkouts quickly with its large recycling capacity, produce fewer refills with more efficient float management.

Concluding Stephan said, “It was great to see so many of our French customers all under one roof and we look forward to following up on the many positive conversations at the show to help retailers with their cash handling needs.”

Innovative Technology Americas, Inc are busy preparing for G2E 2022 which will take place on 11th - 13th October at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, the largest gathering of global gaming professionals in North America.

Commenting on ITL’s involvement, Rebecca White, VP of Sales & Business Development said, “We are excited to be showcasing our innovative product range at G2E at a time of rapid growth across America.   After a few years of uncertainly with the COVID19 outbreak, it will be great to be back in Vegas to network with our international colleagues and customers especially now our products are more established. Our new NV4000 Spectral will be centre stage alongside a large range of our bill validators and cash handling solutions, plus our latest biometrics solutions – all available for visitors to demo on booth #2444.”

Rebecca continued, “Our booth is in a prime position at the centre of the hall - an ideal location for our new NV4000 Spectral and its America debut.  This advanced, high volume mixed bill recycler has a large recycling capacity of up to 420 bills from 5 denominations which makes it ideal for use in redemption kiosks for efficient cash pay-outs. This affordable unit will help automate and speed up redemption process and decrease the need for staff intervention, increase throughput and therefore enhance customer satisfaction.”

Lauren Fabbri, Business Development Manager, commented, “The NV9 and NV200 bill validators will also be on the booth for customers to test out. Both units continue to make significant gains in the US – with extension bezels designed to allow quick and easy retrofit, making them drop-in replacements for most amusement and gaming machines across the country.”

Alongside some of their latest technologies, Innovative Technology Americas, Inc will demo some of their field-proven products such as thesecure and reliable BV50 bill acceptor, specifically designed for the US market. With the option of up or down stacking and four cash box capacities the BV50 is ideal for multiple applications.

Concluding Rebecca said, “We also plan to show the US gaming and amusement market our latest biometrics innovation for age estimation. My Checkr is a standalone solution that can be used to prevent minors from accessing age restricted goods or services such as gaming or amusement machines with an age limit. Founded in 1992 by David Bellis MBE, the Oldham based firm was created with the aim to design and manufacture cost effective banknote validation equipment.  In 1994 the company launched its first product, the NV1, and their iconic Smiley bezel was born. Following on from their successful development of affordable banknote validators, they expertly expanded their product range and grew on an international scale.

Innovative Technology are preparing to showcase their latest innovations this month at the 8th edition of Paris Retail Week, which is being held from 20 - 22 September 2022 in the Pavilion 4 of the Paris Porte de Versailles exhibition center. Paris Retail Week is Europe's biggest meeting for the retailing ecosystem open to all retail and e-commerce professionals.

Commenting on ITL’s involvement, Business Development Manager for the region, Stephan Rosseneu said, “Following our successful debut at Paris Retail Week last year we are looking forward to showcasing our latest innovations again at the 2022 show.  We will have some exciting products on stand B070 including our new NV4000 Spectral, latest biometrics range and CashGenic for cash automation. We will also be using Paris Retail Week to formalise our Trading Partnership with Lyon-based LM Control who will distribute the ITL range of product and provide a service centre for customers based in France.”

Stephan continued, “We are particularly excited to show the new NV4000 Spectral advanced, high volume mixed bill recycler to the French retail market. This unit is designed specifically for the retailer to move customers through the checkouts quickly. With a large recycling capacity of up to 420 bills from 5 denominations the unit boasts fewer refills, increasing staff efficiencies. Plus, automated float management keeps machines running and on-board diagnostics significantly reduces the number of services calls.”

Innovative Technology’s Development Director, John Robinson, is celebrating 15 years’ service with the company this month. After working his way up through the ranks at ITL, John was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2016 taking responsibility for all product development.

Commenting on John’s longstanding achievement, Peter Dunlop, Group Managing Director said, “John is a vital asset to ITL and has been instrumental in ensuring our products are developed to the highest standard. Having been promoted several times within our Research & Development division, John is key to its growth. He has a passion for engineering and shares his technical skills and experience with the team and local students, inspiring the next generation of engineers.”

John commented, “I have gained so much experience during my 15 years with ITL and I look forward to continuing to build on my knowledge as we adapt our product portfolio to the ever-changing needs of the marketplace. ITL has always aspired to create revolutionary products and I will continue to build on this, creating state-of-the-art products that also present exceptional value for our customers.”

Concluding, Peter commented, “John is well respected amongst his peers and manages a team of creative and talented engineers.
