IN THIS BULLETIN: New firmware versions are being released for NV9USB, NV10USB and BV20 products. Due to the global chip shortage, and ongoing issues with semi-conductor supply, we have adapted these products to allow us to source alternative components, therefore ensuring a stable supply of NV9, NV10 & BV20 variants. All future orders will include this latest firmware to ensure the devices support multiple alternative semi-conductors and we will explain how to identify this in the build revision. This new firmware will be automatically used for all future orders and is backwards compatible.
NV9USB+ firmware version 3.83 released
A new version of NV9USB+ firmware has now been released, 3.83. Firmware is contained within the currency dataset files and will be used on new sales orders.
Feature Highlights:

• Removed IF_03, protocols now all found in IF_01

NV10USB+ firmware version 3.50 released
A new version of NV10USB+ firmware has now been released, 3.50. Firmware is contained within the currency dataset files and will be used on new sales orders.

• Fixed issue that caused false fraud attempts on second note inserts
BV20 firmware version 4.23 released
A new version of BV20 firmware has now been released, 4.23. Firmware is contained within the currency dataset files and will be used on new sales orders.

• Fixed issue which resulted in all notes being rejected despite being enabled
Hardware Changes
With the use of the new alternative semi-conductors, the NV9USB+, NV10USB+ and BV20 have had their hardware revisions increased, to reflect these new components.

NV9S now accepts £50 polymer
Our compact spectral validator range can now accept the Bank of England £50. The new polymer style note is smaller than the previous paper fifty so can be accepted by our NV9 Spectral note validator.
