Paris Retail Show success for leading cash handling provider Innovative Technology

Innovative Technology (ITL) reported a successful Paris Retail Week that was held in the capital over three days last week.  Paris Retail Week is Europe's biggest meeting for the retailing ecosystem open to all retail and e-commerce professionals.

Commenting on ITL’s involvement, Business Development Manager for the region, Stephan Rosseneu said, “The show was busy with a constant stream of visitors to the booth over the three days.  Many retailers were impressed with our affordable cash automation system – CashGenic. We presented this with our local partner IPM who have utilised our system to create their own solution – SelfPay.  This compact, affordable solution offers customers who wish to pay with cash, a safe and hygienic way to do so with pay-in and pay-out managed by staff via a mobile tablet device.  The show gave us an opportunity to collaborate with our partner and successfully secure several pilot installations with local retailers planned for later this year.”

Stephan continued, “The exhibition this year had an element of AI (Artificial Intelligence) making our biometrics solutions ideally placed at the show. Visitors were excited to test out MyCheckr for anonymous age estimation, designed for retailers who sell age-restricted goods. This all-in-one device can be utilised at manned checkouts to give an extra level of assurance for till operators when deciding if an age check is required.”

Innovative Technology also debuted their new NV4000 Spectral to the French market. This advanced, high volume mixed bill recycler is designed to move customers through checkouts quickly with its large recycling capacity, produce fewer refills with more efficient float management.

Concluding Stephan said, “It was great to see so many of our French customers all under one roof and we look forward to following up on the many positive conversations at the show to help retailers with their cash handling needs.”
