Innovative Technology (ITL) will be exhibiting for the first time at UNITI Expo 2022 in Stuttgart, Germany on 17 -19 May. UNITI Expo is the leading European trade fair for the retail petroleum and car wash industries. ITL will showcase their latest innovations on booth 1A02 in Hall 1.

Thorsten Labusch, VP of Sales & Business Development for ITL said, “This is our first time exhibiting at UNITI and we are looking forward to meeting new customers from these sectors. We have several products that are ideal for fuel retailers and car wash outlets including our hygienic cash automation kit, CashGenic, plus our all-in-one age estimation device, MyCheckr.  Both products are perfect for any retail or convenience outlets with manned cashier terminals and will be available on our booth for visitors to demo.”

Innovative Technology launched CashGenic at the height of the COVID pandemic to enable customers to pay with cash both safely and hygienically. CashGenic can be used in various settings within the retail sector to automate the counting and handling of cash, therefore saving time and generating greater efficiencies for retailers.

Thorsten continued, “Although COVID may have initially triggered the development of CashGenic for hygiene reasons to reduce staff handling money, it brings many more advantages to the retailer. Increasing cash payments, reducing accounting errors and cost efficiency are amongst many benefits this solution offers. We will be positioned right next door to our CashGenic partner, PerfectMoney who will also have this automated cash deposit system (renamed Vicky) on their stand for visitors to demo too.”

Another key focal point on the ITL stand will be their ICU age estimation technology which is currently being tested in a UK Government Sandbox trial for the retail sale of alcohol.

Concluding Thorsten commented, “The team are excited to show UNITI visitors a first glimpse of MyCheckr. This stand-alone device that can accurately perform anonymous age estimation to assist staff with age checks. It provides an extra level of assurance when challenging underage customers for ID. It requires no integration, and has no recurring charges per age check, making it a cost-effective solution to help the server make informed decisions during the sale of age-restricted goods. We look forward to showing UNITI attendees how our innovative product range can benefit many retail applications bringing cost efficiencies and improved customer satisfaction.”

Innovative Technology Ltd will be making their debut at IFSEC on 17th - 19th May 2022 at ExCel in London. They will be demonstrating their ICU biometric solution for access control applications to visitors on stand 3045 at the UK’s largest running security event.

Andrew O’Brien, ICU Product Manager said, “ICU Pro is a biometric solution that uses facial analysis to control access to buildings or allow hygienic contactless entry.  Facial analysis is a non-contact form of biometrics which can be used to identify and allow access for authorised persons. It can be used to replace or enhance the use of RFID cards or keys. ICU Pro allows anyone to transform a simple USB camera into a complete solution to verify authorised users or staff for entry and automate restricted access to buildings. It is easy to integrate, and simple to use.  Visitors will be able to test out how the technology works first-hand at the show, and we look forward to presenting it to the security industry for the first time at an in-person event.”

ICU Pro from Innovative Technology has a 99.88% accuracy ranking with spoof detection as standard. Processes are performed locally on the ICU hardware giving a reliable and fast response.

Continuing Andrew said, “ICU’s core objective is to provide affordable and easy to use technology that can be easily integrated to meet customers’ own needs. We use our own AI algorithms developed and trained over many years rather than algorithms that are publicly available to guarantee a highly secure system.”

Concluding Andrew commented, “Security experts and professionals at the show will also be able to see how ICU can be utilised with an existing document scanner or RFID reader to provide Photo ID Verification. This gives customers an extra layer of security when verifying that photo IDs such as a passport, driving licence or ID cards match the customer in front of the camera. We are looking forward to our debut at IFSEC to demonstrate how our biometric solutions provide accurate and affordable access control for the security industry.”
